2Prepare for a Mess  Jan 31, 2011
By T. Kipp
My puppy has learned to mark and does this at indoor playgroups. I tried a previous belly band that didn't stretch (slid off), and it was a mess. That belly band had an integrated interior pocket that held a terrycloth pad. This is just a piece of thin neoprene. You can't attach a sanitary pad (like some belly bands) because of the slick fabric. So if your dog continues to try to mark, soon he'll be wearing a urine soaked cloth that leaves yellow stains on his fur if he has light fur (like mine). It's already embarrasing-enough that he's wearing the band, now he's marked. Poor guy. I had to create some pee pads from old towels and sew velcro strips on the belly band and pads so I could attach. Works, but takes some time.

I do like this product but would love it if it were just a bit wider and water proof.

5Great item from Amazon  Dec 23, 2011
By P. Long "gadgetsRus"
I have a 5 lb poodle and bought two x-small belly bands. Fits him perfectly. I use it with a "light days" pad to prevent accidents when we visit friends. They was and dry very quickly. Great solution!
